Marseille: Turkish prefabricated building manufacturer Karmod announced the successful delivery of the fifth phase of its steel-frame housing project in Marseille, marking a significant expansion in Europe's modular construction market.

According to Anadolu Agency, the latest batch of homes is part of Karmod's ongoing residential program in France. Ozan Aydin, Karmod's overseas sales manager, emphasized the company's sustained momentum across Europe, attributed to its efficient production processes, ease of transport, and swift on-site assembly of prefabricated housing.

Karmod has positioned itself as a preferred steel-home brand in Europe by leveraging new technologies in its prefabricated steel home lines. The company has identified France, Germany, the UK, Portugal, Italy, Romania, Greece, and Bulgaria as key markets for its residential projects, with rapid installation being a major factor driving interest across the continent.

Aydin highlighted Karmod's ability to adapt designs to meet specific structural and insulation standards of each country, aided by Europe's extensive road-transport networks that streamline delivery logistics. The Marseille development comprises 94-square-meter, two-bedroom units, with all materials delivered in a single vehicle. Karmod teams completed the on-site installation in just 10 days, ensuring the project adhered to France's building-safety requirements and insulation standards.
