Islamabad: Pakistan's army on Saturday announced that security forces successfully killed nine terrorists affiliated with the banned Tehreek-e-Taliban (TTP) in two distinct operations conducted in the northern province of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

According to Anadolu Agency, the military's media wing detailed that an intelligence-based operation (IBO) was executed in the Tank district, resulting in the death of seven terrorists. In a separate operation within the Lakki Marwat district, two additional terrorists were "effectively neutralized" following an exchange of gunfire.

The operations also led to the recovery of weapons and ammunition, further strengthening the region's security measures.
