Damascus: Syrian Foreign Minister Asaad al-Shaibani said Sunday that Damascus will not pursue a security agreement with Israel unless it fully withdraws from the lands it occupied after Dec. 8, 2024. 'It's not possible to have a security agreement with Israel while it occupies parts of Syrian soil,' Shaibani said during a panel discussion at the Doha Forum in the Qatari capital.

According to Anadolu Agency - English, the Syrian minister emphasized the necessity for the map to return to its state as of Dec. 7 of the previous year. This stipulation is a critical factor for Syria in considering any potential security agreements with Israel.
