Ankara: Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Wednesday welcomed the family and relatives of Hind Rajab, a 6-year-old Palestinian girl tragically killed in an Israeli attack in Gaza, at the Presidential Complex in Ankara. The young girl lost her life while trapped in a vehicle during the assault.

According to Anadolu Agency, President Erdogan extended his condolences and support to the grieving family, focusing particularly on the children present. In a compassionate gesture, he also engaged with family members who were unable to attend in person through video calls, ensuring that all voices were heard during the emotional gathering.

Turkish Culture and Tourism Minister Mehmet Nuri Ersoy was also in attendance, highlighting the significance of the meeting. Hind Rajab's death occurred on January 29, 2024, when the family vehicle was caught in Israeli gunfire in Gaza City's Tel al-Hawa neighborhood.

The poignant story of Hind Rajab has been captured in the film "The Voice of Hind Rajab," which recently had a special screening at the Presidential Complex. This event was attended by her family members, further honoring her memory and bringing attention to the ongoing conflict.
