Washington: US President Donald Trump on Friday urged for the Department of Justice to reveal the identities of "all" Democrats who have had relations with late convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. "The Dems are the ones who worked with Epstein, not the Republicans. Release all of their names, embarrass them, and get back to helping our Country!" Trump said on his social media company Truth Social.

According to Anadolu Agency, Trump referred to a recent Justice Department announcement that more than 1 million additional pages of documents related to the disgraced financier had been uncovered. He criticized the department, stating that the "DOJ is being forced to spend all of its time on this Democrat inspired Hoax," and questioned when they would focus on issues like election fraud, claiming Democrats were more involved with Epstein than Republicans.

Trump labeled the ongoing Epstein investigation as "Just another Witch Hunt" and accused the "Radical Left" of wanting to prevent discussions on "TRUMP and REPUBLICAN SUCCESS." The Department of Justice had announced on Wednesday that it had received over 1 million additional documents potentially related to Epstein, which they are reviewing diligently to make necessary redactions to protect victims.

The department has committed to releasing the documents "as soon as possible" after the review, fulfilling its obligations under the Epstein Files Transparency Act, signed into law on November 19, along with existing federal statutes and court orders. Epstein was found dead in his New York City jail cell in 2019 while awaiting trial on sex trafficking charges, with allegations from victims that he operated a vast sex trafficking network involving members of the wealthy and political elite.

The Epstein case continues to be a politically charged issue in the US, with demands from lawmakers and victims' advocates for greater transparency regarding his network of associates and any individuals who may have facilitated his crimes.
