Aden: Yemeni government forces on Wednesday imposed a nighttime curfew in Aden, the country's temporary capital.
According to Anadolu Agency - English, the curfew begins at 9 pm local time (1800GMT) on Wednesday and continues until 6 am local time (0300GMT) on Thursday. This decision came shortly after the Giants Brigades announced that they had taken control of Aden International Airport from the Southern Transitional Council (STC) forces.
The Giants Brigades stated that the nighttime curfew in Aden is part of ongoing efforts to enhance security and stability in the region. This strategic move is seen as a significant step in the government's efforts to maintain order in Yemen's temporary capital.
