Aleppo: The PKK/YPG terrorist group, operating under the name SDF, renewed shelling of residential neighborhoods in Aleppo in northern Syria for the second day on Wednesday morning. This follows a series of attacks that resulted in the death of at least five people a day earlier, as reported by the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA).

According to Anadolu Agency - English, SANA reported that SDF terrorists targeted the al-Suryan neighborhood in northern Aleppo with their shelling. In response, Syrian army forces directed their fire toward the sources in the vicinity of the Sheikh Maqsoud neighborhood, which served as the launching point for the attacks on al-Suryan.

The agency also reported that Syrian army forces engaged in clashes with the SDF along the Castello and al-Sheihan axes in the province. As of now, no information has been released regarding casualties from these recent confrontations.

The violent exchanges come on the heels of a series of attacks by SDF terrorists in Aleppo on Tuesday, which resulted in at least five fatalities and injuries to 16 others. These incidents have heightened tensions in the region.

On March 10, the Syrian presidency announced an agreement for the integration of the SDF into state institutions, emphasizing the country's territorial unity and opposing any division attempts. However, Syrian authorities have indicated that the SDF has not shown any commitment to fulfilling the agreement's terms in the ensuing months.
