Salt lake city: Two people were killed and eight injured in a shooting that took place at a funeral outside a church late Wednesday in the state of Utah. According to Fox News, police have reported that three of the injured individuals are in critical condition.

According to Anadolu Agency - English, No suspects have been apprehended in relation to the shooting at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, located at 660 North Redwood Road. Authorities have confirmed that some of the victims were transported to a hospital in a private vehicle before law enforcement officers arrived at the scene.

Police currently do not have a confirmed description of the suspect's vehicle. However, authorities are actively searching the area from Redwood Road to the Jordan River in an attempt to gather more information. As part of the ongoing investigation, Redwood Road remains closed near the church, and officials are advising the public to avoid the area.

The FBI Salt Lake City has stated on the US social media platform X that it is aware of the incident in Salt Lake City and is offering assistance to local law enforcement partners.
