Gaza: The Israeli military launched artillery fire and airstrikes across several areas of the Gaza Strip on Thursday morning, in a new violation of the ceasefire agreement. Witnesses reported that Israeli artillery and aircraft targeted the al-Tuffah neighborhood east of Gaza City, while artillery fire also targeted eastern areas of the Bureij refugee camp in central Gaza.

According to Anadolu Agency, in southern Gaza, Israeli military vehicles opened fire east of Khan Younis. These incidents occurred in areas of the Gaza Strip where Israeli forces remain deployed. As of now, there is no immediate information on casualties or material damage caused by these attacks.

Palestinians have accused Israel of repeatedly violating the ceasefire that ended the war which has resulted in the deaths of more than 71,400 people, mostly women and children, and injured over 171,000 others since October 2023. Since the ceasefire, nearly 450 Palestinians have been killed and over 1,200 others injured in Israeli attacks, according to the Health Ministry.

Furthermore, Israel has refused to reopen Gaza's crossings, despite a UN Security Council resolution adopted in November 2025, which called for a permanent and comprehensive ceasefire in the enclave, unimpeded delivery of humanitarian aid, and the reconstruction of the territory.
