Istanbul: Trkiye's benchmark stock index opened the last trading day of the week at a new all-time high of 12,486.53 points, registering an increase of 0.24%, or 29.84 points, from the previous close.

According to Anadolu Agency, on Thursday, Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 gained 0.7% to close at a previous record high of 12,456.69 points, with a daily transaction volume reaching 176 billion Turkish liras, equivalent to $4.07 billion.

As of 9.50 am local time (0650GMT), the exchange rates were noted as 43.2785 liras to the US dollar, 50.2240 to the euro, and 57.8970 to the British pound. The price of an ounce of gold was recorded at $4,598.90, while Brent crude oil was trading at $63.15 per barrel.
