Turkish Stock Exchange Up at Tuesday’s Open

Istanbul: Trkiye's benchmark stock index opened Tuesday at 12,650.59 points, marking an increase of 0.19% or 24.24 points from the previous close.

According to Anadolu Agency, on Monday, the BIST 100 experienced a decline of 0.57%, closing at 12,626.35 points with a daily transaction volume amounting to 109.6 billion liras ($2.46 billion).

As of 11 am local time (0800GMT), the exchange rates were reported at 44.4790 Turkish liras to the US dollar, 51.0750 to the euro, and 58.8015 to the British pound.

In the commodities market, the price of an ounce of gold stood at $4,564.60, while Brent crude futures were priced at $106.4 per barrel.
