Turkish Airlines Plane Diverts to India After Engine Warning

Kolkata: A Turkish Airlines flight from the Nepalese city of Kathmandu to Istanbul was diverted to India due to a technical warning, said a spokesperson on Wednesday. Yahya Ustun, senior vice president of communications at the airline, stated that the Airbus A330 aircraft, operating flight TK727, received a warning concerning its right engine shortly after takeoff.

According to Anadolu Agency, the plane landed safely at India's Kolkata Airport, where it is undergoing necessary checks. The spokesperson added that a new flight plan is being arranged to ensure that the affected passengers continue their journey to Trkiye.
