Air Ambulance Crash in Jharkhand Claims Seven Lives

Jharkhand: An air ambulance tragically crashed in the eastern Indian state of Jharkhand, resulting in the deaths of all seven people onboard, including two crew members, officials have confirmed.

According to Anadolu Agency, the private chartered plane, identified as a Beechcraft C90 aircraft operated by Redbird Airways Pvt Ltd, lost communication shortly after departing from Ranchi, the state capital. The Directorate of Civil Aviation in India reported this loss of contact via a statement on the US social media platform X. The crash occurred in the vicinity of Simaria in Chatra district.

Authorities revealed that the aircraft had requested a deviation from its planned route due to adverse weather conditions. Unfortunately, communication and radar contact was severed just 23 minutes into the flight. The plane was on a medical evacuation mission bound for New Delhi when the incident occurred.

In response to the crash, officials launched an operation to locate the aircraft. A police official in Chatra confirmed early Tuesday that all seven individuals aboard the plane had perished in the crash.
