Vienna: The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) on Tuesday confirmed damage to entrance buildings at Iran's underground Natanz Fuel Enrichment Plant amid US-Israeli airstrikes.

According to Anadolu Agency, the IAEA announced the findings based on recent satellite imagery, which revealed damage to the entrance buildings of the Natanz Fuel Enrichment Plant (FEP). Despite the damage, the agency assured that no radiological consequences are expected and there is no additional impact detected at the FEP itself, which had already suffered severe damage during the conflict in June.

The IAEA highlighted that while the entrance structures showed signs of damage, the facility itself remained unaffected. This development comes in the wake of the ongoing US-Israeli military campaign, which began on Saturday, resulting in the deaths of several senior Iranian officials, including Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei.

In retaliation, Tehran has launched drone and missile strikes targeting Israel and several other regional countries hosting US assets.
