Tehran: The death toll from the ongoing US-Israeli attacks on Iran has increased to 867, as confirmed by Iranian Health Ministry spokesman Hossein Kermanpour.
According to Anadolu Agency, Kermanpour stated that out of the 5,946 individuals injured, 2,184 continue to receive treatment in hospitals across the country. The conflict has intensified tensions in the region following the large-scale military offensive initiated by the US and Israel on Saturday.
The attacks have also resulted in the deaths of high-ranking Iranian officials, including Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. In response, Tehran has launched drone and missile strikes targeting Israel and Gulf countries hosting US assets, further escalating regional hostilities.
