Bryansk: At least six people were killed and 37 injured in a Ukrainian missile attack on Russia's border region of Bryansk.

According to Anadolu Agency, Bryansk Governor Alexander Bogomaz reported on Telegram that the administrative center of the region was struck by a missile launched by Ukraine. Local emergency officials briefed him on the situation, and all injured individuals have been taken to Bryansk Regional Hospital for medical care. Bogomaz described the attack as a "terrorist act" and mentioned ongoing efforts to manage and mitigate the aftermath, while also warning about smoke in Bryansk's Sovietsky district.

The regional prosecutor's office communicated separately via the Russian messenger app Max that the injured are receiving necessary medical assistance. During a news briefing, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy confirmed that the Ukrainian military carried out the attack. He cited a conversation with Commander-in-Chief Oleksandr Syrskyi about the successful operation, which targeted the Bryansk plant, though he did not provide further details.

Additionally, Ukraine's General Staff claimed responsibility on Telegram for striking the Kremniy El microelectronics factory during the attack. They reported significant damage to the production facilities, achieved by using long-range Storm Shadow cruise missiles. Russian authorities have not yet responded to these claims.
