Israeli Airstrike Injures 11 Civil Defense Personnel in Southern Lebanon

Beirut: An Israeli airstrike wounded 11 civil defense personnel near the Nabatieh regional center in southern Lebanon, National News Agency NNA reported on Wednesday. The attack, which took place Tuesday night, targeted a building approximately 20 meters from the center, causing injuries of varying degrees to the civil defense members.

According to Anadolu Agency, the country's General Directorate of Civil Defense confirmed that the strike caused significant damage to the center and its vehicles. Despite the damages and injuries sustained, civil defense teams have maintained full readiness, determined to continue their duties amid escalating risks.

Israel's actions come in the wake of a limited ground incursion into southern Lebanon on March 3, following a joint military campaign launched with the US against Iran on February 28.
