Tehran: A new wave of explosions struck Tehran on Thursday evening, as the US and Israel continued a joint offensive against Iran. Powerful explosions rocked southern and western Tehran as warplanes were heard flying in the area.
According to Anadolu Agency, the US and Israel have maintained airstrikes on Iran since Feb. 28, resulting in over 1,340 casualties, including then-Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei. This ongoing military action has led to significant tension in the region.
Iran has responded to the offensive with drone and missile strikes targeting Israel, as well as Jordan, Iraq, and Gulf countries hosting US military assets. These retaliatory actions have caused casualties and damage to infrastructure, further disrupting global markets and aviation.
