Tehran: A series of explosions were heard in Iran’s capital as US-Israel attacks continued, Iranian media said Sunday. The Fars News Agency reported that explosions were reported in various parts of Tehran.
According to Anadolu Agency, several cities, including Isfahan, Tabriz, and Qom, were also targeted in attacks overnight, as stated by Iran-based Nournews. The regional escalations have continued since Israel and the US launched an offensive against Iran on Feb. 28, resulting in over 1,300 deaths, including the then-Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei.
Iran has responded with drone and missile strikes targeting Israel, Jordan, Iraq, and Gulf countries hosting US military assets. These retaliatory actions have resulted in casualties and infrastructure damage, while also disrupting global markets and aviation.
