Death Toll from Israeli Attacks in Lebanon Approaches 1,250, Over 3,600 Injured

Beirut: The Lebanese Health Ministry reported Monday that nine people were killed and 137 others injured in Israeli attacks across various parts of Lebanon over the past 24 hours.

According to Anadolu Agency, the ministry's statement revealed that these latest figures bring the death toll since March 2 to 1,247, with a total of 3,680 individuals injured. The attacks have primarily targeted areas in southern Lebanon and the southern suburbs of Beirut, resulting in significant casualties and widespread damage to property and infrastructure.

The escalation of violence occurs amid ongoing regional tensions, with growing international concerns over a potential widening of the conflict and its humanitarian and security implications.
