Beirut: Hezbollah announced on Friday that it executed 38 attacks targeting Israeli settlements, forces, vehicles, and military sites within a 24-hour timeframe. The Lebanese group stated that these operations were conducted as a defensive measure for Lebanon and its population amid ongoing Israeli assaults on the country, which have persisted since March 2.

According to Anadolu Agency, this recent wave of attacks has increased the total number of Hezbollah's operations since March 2 to 1,416. The group reported that it specifically targeted seven settlements in northern Israel, including Kiryat Shmona on seven occasions, Metula three times, and Nahariya twice, along with Hula, Ma'ayan Baruch, Kfar Yuval, and Yir'on.

Hezbollah further detailed that it attacked 16 gatherings of Israeli soldiers and vehicles, with 10 incidents occurring within northern Israel, adjacent to Lebanon, targeting the settlements of Malkia, Margaliot, Dishon Shema, and Avivim twice. Additionally, they claimed to have targeted six gatherings of Israeli soldiers in southern Lebanon in the towns of Bayadah, Ainata, Qantara, and Maroun al-Ras.

As of this report, there has been no confirmation or statement from Israeli authorities regarding potential casualties resulting from Hezbollah's attacks. These developments are part of ongoing cross-border hostilities between Israel and Hezbollah, following Israel's expanded operations in Lebanon since early March.

The region has been on heightened alert since the United States and Israel initiated an air offensive on February 28, resulting in over 1,340 fatalities, including the death of then-Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei. In response, Iran has conducted drone and missile strikes targeting Israel, as well as Jordan, Iraq, and Gulf countries hosting US military assets, leading to casualties, infrastructure damage, and disruptions in global markets and aviation.
