Kyiv: Russia and Ukraine on Saturday accused each other of overnight drone attacks, claiming that at least 16 people were killed and 63 others injured over the last 24 hours. Ukraine's General Staff said Saturday on Telegram that Moscow launched 286 drones across the country, with 260 shot down.

According to Anadolu Agency, in Ukraine's Sumy region, 13 people were injured during an overnight strike, as reported by Serhii Kryvosheienko, head of the City's Military Administration, on Telegram. Dnipropetrovsk Governor Oleksandr Hanzha detailed that Russia attacked two districts of the region more than 20 times with drones, artillery, and aerial bombs, injuring three people. Later, he announced that five people were killed and 22 others injured in Russia's Saturday morning attack on Nikopol.

Oleh Syniehubov, head of the military administration in the Kharkiv region, reported that four people were killed and 11 injured in shelling over the past 24 hours. Donetsk Governor Vadym Filashkin noted on Telegram that six people were killed and 10 others injured in the region over the last 24 hours.

Meanwhile, Russia's Defense Ministry stated that its forces intercepted 85 Ukrainian unmanned aircraft over several regions, including Belgorod, Bryansk, Voronezh, Kursk, Oryol, Rostov, Samara, Saratov, Tula, Crimea, and the Black Sea. The governor of the Rostov region, Yuri Slusar, mentioned on Telegram that one person was killed and four others were injured in Taganrog during a nighttime drone attack.

Additionally, a commercial vessel was damaged in the waters of the Taganrog Bay of the Sea of Azov. A fire ensued but was later controlled. Slusar stated, "The dry cargo ship, flying the flag of a foreign state, was located a few kilometers from the coastline."
