Gaza city: Three Palestinians were killed and several others injured early Sunday when an Israeli drone targeted a group of Palestinian security personnel in eastern Gaza City. The attack occurred in the Al-Tuffah neighborhood, with victims being transported to the Al-Ahli Baptist Hospital in central Gaza City and the Al-Shifa Hospital in the west, as reported by medical sources and witnesses.

According to Anadolu Agency, witnesses noted that the strike hit near Al-Shawa Square, affecting a group of Palestinian security personnel. This incident follows another recent attack on Saturday, where one Palestinian was killed and three were injured during an Israeli drone strike on a vehicle in the central Gaza Strip.

Further violence has been reported across the enclave, with Israeli gunfire and naval shelling affecting other areas. The Israeli army has not provided immediate comments regarding these attacks. The ongoing tension highlights continued violations of a ceasefire agreement, with Gaza's Health Ministry reporting 713 Palestinians killed and 1,940 injured due to these breaches.

The ceasefire was initially aimed at concluding a two-year Israeli offensive on Gaza, which resulted in over 72,000 fatalities and 172,000 injuries, along with the destruction of 90% of civilian infrastructure. The United Nations estimates the cost of reconstruction at approximately $70 billion.
