Yerevan: Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan announced on Thursday that he and Russian President Vladimir Putin have agreed to conduct a high-level meeting in the latter half of June.

According to Anadolu Agency, Pashinyan's statements were shared by the Armenian state news agency, Armenpress, where he reflected on his recent visit to Moscow earlier this month, describing it as 'very successful.' The prime minister confirmed that discussions about the face-to-face meeting have been finalized, with events scheduled for mid-June.

Pashinyan emphasized that the relationship between Armenia and Russia is undergoing a 'constructive transformation,' which he considers a positive development. He assured that Yerevan will continue to uphold its principles through this process. The prime minister reiterated Armenia's commitment to a friendly dialogue, stating that they will maintain this approach moving forward.

Additionally, Pashinyan remarked that Armenia will persist in aligning its policies with both the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) and the European Union (EU) as long as conditions allow. He noted that when a moment of incompatibility arises, decisions will be made collectively with the Armenian populace.
