Beirut: The Israeli army executed a significant airstrike on the Dahiyeh area in southern Beirut, resulting in loud explosions and rising smoke, as reported by an Anadolu correspondent. This attack marks the most severe assault on Lebanon since the offensive began on March 2.
According to Anadolu Agency, the Israeli army confirmed conducting over 100 strikes across Lebanon. The death toll from Wednesday's attacks has reached at least 254 people, with 92 casualties reported in Beirut alone. These attacks coincide with a recent announcement by Iran and the US of a two-week truce, intended to facilitate a final agreement to end the ongoing conflict initiated by Washington and Tel Aviv against Tehran on February 28. The conflict has already resulted in thousands of casualties.
