Iranian Military Poised for Immediate Response if US Attacks

Tehran: Iran's military announced that it is "ready and on the trigger" to strike pre-designated targets if the United States initiates any new attacks, as reported by state television early Wednesday. This declaration follows repeated threats perceived by Iran from US President Donald Trump and military commanders.

According to Anadolu Agency, Ebrahim Zolfaghari, spokesperson for Iran's Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters, emphasized the state of readiness of Iran's forces. Zolfaghari asserted that the Iranian military is prepared to launch an immediate and powerful response against any aggression or action targeting the Islamic Republic of Iran.

The statement from Iran came after President Trump indicated on Tuesday that the United States would extend its ceasefire with Iran. This decision followed a request from Pakistani officials. Trump also noted that the US naval blockade of Iranian ports would continue until Iran submits a "unified proposal."
