Istanbul: Turkish Airlines will resume flights to Damascus, Beirut, and Amman at the beginning of May, the flag carrier announced. In a notice on its website, Turkish Airlines stated that flights to these three cities would restart as of May 1.
According to Anadolu Agency, the routes had been suspended since February 28 due to US and Israeli attacks on Iran, which disrupted airspace across parts of the Middle East. The resumption includes flights to Syria's capital Damascus, Lebanon's capital Beirut, and Jordan's capital Amman.
