Iran Dismisses Trump’s Rejection of Peace Plan Response

Tehran: US President Donald Trump's dismissal of Iran's response to an American peace plan aimed at ending the ongoing war "doesn't matter at all," according to Iran's semi-official Tasnim News Agency. The report, released early Monday, cited an informed source who commented on the situation.

According to Anadolu Agency, the source emphasized that Iran's proposals are crafted solely based on "the rights of the Iranian people," and not to appease President Trump. "No one in Iran writes proposals to please Trump," the source asserted, highlighting the independence of Iran's negotiating team.

The source further remarked that if President Trump found the Iranian proposal unsatisfactory, "then it is naturally better." This statement underscores Iran's firm stance on its proposal, irrespective of the US President's approval.

Additionally, the source accused Trump of rejecting reality, suggesting that this attitude is the reason he "keeps losing to Iran." Trump's comments on his Truth Social platform on Sunday labeled the response from Iran's "so-called representatives" as "totally unacceptable."
