Istanbul: Trkiye's benchmark stock index, the BIST 100, concluded the week at 14,367.60 points on Friday, marking a decrease of 1.89% from the previous day.

According to Anadolu Agency, the index commenced the day at 14,526.47 points, eventually losing 277.1 points compared to Thursday's close. Throughout the trading session, the BIST 100 index fluctuated between a low of 14,265.67 points and a high of 14,538.43 points.

The total market value of the BIST 100 was approximately 13.88 trillion Turkish liras, equivalent to $306.2 billion. The trading volume for the day was recorded at 169 billion liras, or $3.72 billion. Out of the stocks on the index, 11 experienced a rise, while 86 saw a decline compared to the previous close.

Gold prices were at $4,535.2 per ounce, with Brent futures trading at $109.4 as of 1600GMT. The exchange rates stood at 45.5450 liras for the US dollar, 53.0370 liras for the euro, and 60.7830 liras for the British pound.
