Ankara: The US military announced that it executed a "lethal" strike on a vessel in the Eastern Pacific Ocean, resulting in the deaths of three alleged narco-terrorists.

According to Anadolu Agency, the US Southern Command (SOUTHCOM) reported that intelligence had identified the vessel as navigating "known narco-trafficking routes" and participating in activities related to narco-trafficking. This information was shared on the US social media platform X.

General Francis Donovan, SOUTHCOM's commander, gave the order for the strike, which was executed by Joint Task Force Southern Spear. The vessel targeted was reported to be operated by a "designated terrorist organization."

The operation resulted in the deaths of three male individuals identified as narco-terrorists.
