Istanbul: Trkiye's benchmark stock index, Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100, concluded the week at 13,694.19 points on Friday, marking a decrease of 1.28% from the previous day.

According to Anadolu Agency, the index began the day at 13,889.37 points and experienced a loss of 178.06 points from Thursday's close. Throughout the day, the index fluctuated, hitting a low of 13,661.82 and a high of 13,903.42. The market value of the BIST 100 stood at approximately 13.33 trillion Turkish liras, equivalent to $290.7 billion, with a trading volume of 172 billion liras, or $3.73 billion.

Out of the stocks listed on the index, 18 saw an increase while 78 recorded a decline compared to the previous close. In commodities, gold was priced at $4,340.60 per ounce, and Brent crude futures were trading at $93.3 as of 1600 GMT. The exchange rates were also noted, with the US dollar trading at 46.0850 Turkish liras, the euro at 53.1940 liras, and the British pound at 61.6300 liras.
