Israeli Strikes Kill Palestinian Student and Paramedic in Gaza Ceasefire Violation

Gaza: Israeli strikes have resulted in the deaths of a Palestinian student and a paramedic, while injuring four others in a recent breach of the Gaza ceasefire. A medical source reported that an Israeli drone targeted a civilian vehicle in the Al-Mawasi area west of Khan Younis city in southern Gaza, leading to the fatality of a paramedic and leaving another individual seriously injured.

According to Anadolu Agency, these attacks signify the latest infraction of the ceasefire agreement that commenced in Gaza on October 10, 2025. Gaza’s Health Ministry has reported that since the ceasefire began, Israeli actions have resulted in the deaths of 1,021 Palestinians and injuries to 3,249 others.

The ongoing conflict, referred to as Israel’s genocidal war on Gaza since October 2023, has claimed the lives of 73,032 individuals, injured over 173,300, and inflicted extensive damage on approximately 90% of the enclave’s infrastructure. The United Nations has estimated that the cost of reconstruction in the region will be around $70 billion.
