Russian Strikes on Zaporizhzhia Result in Fatalities and Multiple Injuries

Ankara: Two people were killed and 16 others were injured in Russian strikes on Ukraine's southeastern Zaporizhzhia region, the Ukrainian regional governor claimed.

According to Anadolu Agency, in a statement posted on Telegram, Ivan Fedorov reported that Russian forces targeted the regional capital, leading to a fire outbreak, and dropped a guided bomb on the village of Shevchenkivske, which resulted in the destruction of a private home and a vehicle.

Russia has not provided any comments regarding Ukraine's claims, and independent verification of the incident remains challenging due to the ongoing conflict in the region.
