Ankara: Poland's Foreign Intelligence Agency chief, Pawel Szota, has urged the country to prepare as if a conflict with Russia is imminent. Speaking to the Rzeczpospolita daily, Szota emphasized the need to adapt to the current threats emerging from the Kremlin.

According to Anadolu Agency, Szota highlighted the high level of Russian aggression, noting the real risk of military confrontation. He warned that Russia is capable of continuing its war with Ukraine for several more years, stressing that President Vladimir Putin is unlikely to abandon the war effort as he aims to maintain a victorious image domestically.

Szota also raised concerns about ongoing Russian provocations, particularly those testing NATO's responses. He cited observations of such provocations occurring in Poland, indicating that Russia is closely monitoring the reactions of NATO and its member countries.
