Ankara: Trkiye's Central Bank is expected this week to hold its policy interest rate constant at 37%, according to an Anadolu survey on Monday. The decision is anticipated to be announced during the fifth monetary policy committee meeting of the year, scheduled for Thursday.

According to Anadolu Agency, the survey included 16 economists, all of whom predicted that there would be no change in the interest rate during the upcoming meeting. This expectation aligns with the bank's recent trend of maintaining the rate unchanged over the last four meetings.

The survey also provided a year-end interest rate forecast of 35%. The Central Bank has previously adjusted the rate, lowering it to 38% from 39.5% in December 2025. As the financial community awaits the bank's decision, these steady rates reflect a consistent approach in Trkiye's monetary policy strategy.
