Israeli Forces Conduct Raid in Southern Syria’s Daraa Province

Daraa: The Israeli army conducted a raid and search operation in Syria's southern province of Daraa, focusing on a house in the region. The operation took place on Saturday and was reported by Alikhbaria TV.

According to Anadolu Agency, the raid involved an Israeli occupation forces patrol targeting a house in Wadi al-Ruqqad, located in the western Daraa countryside. The channel provided limited details about the raid, leaving much about the operation and its objectives undisclosed.

The region of southern Syria has been experiencing repeated Israeli incursions and operations over the past months. These activities include raids, searches, and arrests, marking a pattern of intensified violations following the fall of Bashar al-Assad's regime in December 2024. This period saw Israel declaring the collapse of the 1974 Disengagement Agreement, subsequently taking control of the Syrian buffer zone.
