Nazca: At least 13 people lost their lives on Saturday when a small aircraft crashed into farmland near the city of Nazca in Peru's southern Ica region. The tragic incident was reported by local broadcaster RPP News.
According to Anadolu Agency, preliminary reports indicate that the victims included 11 tourists, in addition to the pilot and co-pilot of the aircraft. The crash site was located approximately 6 kilometers (3.7 miles) from the city of Nazca.
Emergency responders and local authorities quickly arrived at the scene to manage the aftermath. An investigation has been launched to ascertain the cause of the crash, as officials work to piece together the events leading up to this unfortunate accident.
