Turkish Foreign Minister Meets Jordan’s King Abdullah II in Amman

Amman: Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan was received by Jordan's King Abdullah II during his visit to the capital city of Amman on Wednesday.

According to Anadolu Agency, a post on the Turkish Foreign Ministry's NSosyal account confirmed the meeting between Fidan and the Jordanian monarch. However, no further details regarding the discussions or outcomes of the meeting have been disclosed.

Earlier the same day, Fidan participated in a ministerial meeting on Jerusalem, hosted by Jordan. During this meeting, he highlighted that nearly 20 Islamic countries were deliberating on "collective measures" in response to Israel's recent violations at Al-Aqsa Mosque. Fidan emphasized the importance of maintaining international focus on developments in the occupied Palestinian territories, despite ongoing regional crises.

In a session with Anadolu reporters following the meeting, Fidan elaborated that the discussions were centered solely on addressing Israel's recent actions targeting Al-Aqsa Mosque.
