Damascus: Trkiye's ambassador to Syria, Nuh Yilmaz, on Thursday strongly condemned a deadly bombing in Damascus' Jaramana district and reaffirmed Ankara's support for efforts to achieve lasting stability and security in the country.

According to Anadolu Agency, the bombing resulted in the deaths of at least two people and left 13 others injured in the Syrian capital. On social media platform X, Yilmaz emphasized that violence and terrorism have no place in Syria, expressing Trkiye's continued solidarity with the Syrian people.

Trkiye's commitment to supporting efforts aimed at achieving lasting stability and security in Syria was reiterated by Yilmaz in his statement.
