US Demands Explanations from Israel Over Violence in Qusra: Israeli Media

Tel aviv: The US sent Israel "furious" messages and demanded explanations from Tel Aviv about occupiers' violence in Qusra, near Nablus in the occupied West Bank, Israeli media reported Wednesday.

According to Anadolu Agency, American officials expressed their shock in conversations with Israeli counterparts regarding the incident and sought clarity on the unfolding situation. The Yedioth Ahronoth newspaper reported that the Americans raised critical questions about governance in Israel, questioning whether there is anarchy and how it is possible that the army does not prevent harm to Palestinians.

The report emerged amid a tense situation where Israeli occupiers have besieged two Palestinian families in their homes in the West Bank since Sunday. The families have reported dwindling supplies, prompting rights groups to call for authorities to intervene.
