Ankara: US President Donald Trump announced that millions of barrels of oil continue to flow through the Strait of Hormuz despite ongoing tensions with Iran. In a statement made at the White House, Trump emphasized the United States' control over the strategic waterway, asserting that the strait remains open and operational.

According to Anadolu Agency, Trump detailed the efforts undertaken by US forces to maintain security in the region. He highlighted the deployment of advanced minesweeping technology to clear the waterway of underwater mines, which he stated were being used by adversaries.
