Prague: The domestic intelligence service in the Czech Republic said on Thursday that the country still faces a risk from "one-time agents" allegedly directed by Russia. These agents are reportedly used for sabotage attacks targeting entities involved in producing or distributing aid to Ukraine.

According to Anadolu Agency, Czechia continues to grapple with this threat as outlined in a report from the Security Information Service (BIS) seen by Czech Radio. The report highlights the ongoing risk posed by these operatives, who are allegedly directed by Russian interests.

The BIS's 2025 annual report reveals that Czech institutions suffered several cyberattacks last year attributed to actors linked to China, while Russia-affiliated hackers were also active. The cyber threats have compounded the challenges faced by Czech intelligence in safeguarding national security, particularly in the context of international tensions involving Ukraine.
