Moscow: Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko announced plans to address what he referred to as a 'common problem' on the southern border of Belarus and the western border of Russia. Meeting with Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin in Moscow, Lukashenko emphasized that despite external expectations, the issue will be resolved collaboratively.

According to Anadolu Agency, Lukashenko expressed gratitude towards Mishustin and the Russian government for their commitment to fulfilling obligations to Belarus, highlighting their ongoing cooperation. He assured that Belarus is equally committed to these agreements, pledging to meet and potentially exceed expectations, particularly in areas such as fuel and food supplies.

Mishustin reaffirmed the dedication of both nations to implementing decisions made at the presidential level. He mentioned that government oversight is consistently applied to address any issues. The Russian Prime Minister also discussed a comprehensive review of the bilateral agenda with his Belarusian counterpart Alexander Turchin, noting the systematic growth of mutual trade turnover and expressing optimism for further improvements in trade structure.
