Ankara: The Yemeni army launched a drone attack targeting a Houthi ammunition depot and gathering point in the Al-Dhale province of southwestern Yemen. The strike took place on Friday at the al-Firdaws checkpoint, near the southern entrance to Damt.

According to Anadolu Agency, the official Saba news agency reported the attack, citing an unnamed military source. The source confirmed the successful targeting of the ammunition depot and Houthi assembly at the location. However, there were no immediate details provided regarding casualties or the extent of the damage caused by the strike. The Houthis have yet to comment on the incident.

The attack marks a continuation of escalating military tensions in Yemen, with recent weeks witnessing intensified confrontations between Yemeni government forces and the Houthi faction.
