Ankara: Six Palestinians sustained injuries late Saturday during a raid by the Israeli army on the Al-Faraa refugee camp, located south of Tubas in the northern occupied West Bank. The Palestinian Red Crescent Society reported that the injuries were a result of tear gas fired by the Israeli forces.

According to Anadolu Agency, the Red Crescent Society treated all affected individuals on-site for tear gas inhalation. This incident occurred amid a series of new Israeli incursions across the occupied West Bank.

In another development, Israeli forces entered the city of Al-Bireh, deploying in several neighborhoods without executing arrests or home raids, as reported by the official Voice of Palestine radio.

Meanwhile, in the village of Al-Mughayyir, northeast of Ramallah, Israeli forces launched tear gas toward Palestinian homes; however, no injuries were reported from this incident.

In Hebron's Old City, journalists faced assault from Israeli soldiers, who also prevented them from working, as Israeli occupiers, with military protection, entered the area. Witnesses informed Anadolu that groups of occupiers, accompanied by Israeli soldiers, moved toward the Bab al-Baladiyeh area, imposing restrictions on Palestinian residents and shopkeepers, hindering their movement.

Israeli forces are known for conducting military incursions in the occupied West Bank almost daily, often involving gunfire, home raids, and arrests. Since the beginning of Israel's war on the Gaza Strip in October 2023, there has been a marked increase in Israeli army and occupier activities in the occupied West Bank, coinciding with the expansion of illegal settlements and heightened restrictions on Palestinian movement.
