Saudi arabia: Saudi Arabia's Civil Defense issued emergency alerts on Tuesday in the southwestern regions of Jazan, Najran, and Abha, warning of a potential threat. Minutes later, the agency announced that the danger had passed.

According to Anadolu Agency, the alerts were disseminated through the national early warning platform for emergencies, cautioning residents in the affected areas. However, the nature of the threat was not specified, and no details were provided on any casualties or damage.

Earlier, Yemen's Houthi group claimed responsibility for large-scale missile and drone attacks targeting Saudi Arabia, specifically aiming at Aramco facilities in Abha, Najran, and Jizan, as well as the Khamis Mushait Air Base. The Houthis stated that the assault was a retaliation for Saudi airstrikes in Yemen, alleging that Riyadh conducted 121 strikes over the past three days across Marib, Al-Bayda, Al-Hudaydah, Taiz, and Al-Jawf provinces.

Following the attacks, Saudi authorities confirmed that the Houthi strikes on Abha, Khamis Mushait, Jizan, and Najran resulted in injuries to at least 73 civilians, including women and children. The Saudi Energy Ministry also reported fires at energy facilities in the kingdom's southern region, leading to a temporary halt in some operations at the affected sites.

Yemen has been mired in conflict since the Houthis seized the capital, Sanaa, in 2014, prompting a Saudi-led coalition to intervene in March 2015 in support of the internationally recognized Yemeni government. Recently, government forces have reported battlefield gains against the Houthis on several fronts, including in Al-Jawf, Al-Bayda, Taiz, and Al-Hudaydah.
