Liverpool Eyes January Move for Crystal Palace’s Sarr Amid Transfer Speculations

London: Liverpool is reportedly preparing to make another attempt to sign Crystal Palace winger Ismaila Sarr in the upcoming January transfer window. The 28-year-old Senegal international was a target for Liverpool during the summer, but a deal could not be finalized before the transfer deadline.

According to BBC, Liverpool's interest in Sarr remains strong, and the club is hopeful of securing his services in the mid-season window. Sarr has been a standout performer for Crystal Palace, and his potential move to Liverpool could bolster the team's attacking options as they aim for a strong finish in the Premier League.

Meanwhile, Tottenham's Brazilian forward Richarlison is exploring a potential move to the Saudi Pro League after his transfer to Trabzonspor fell through. With the Saudi transfer window closing on October 12, Richarlison is keen to finalize a deal.

In other news, Arsenal is making strides in contract negotiations with manager Mikel Arteta, whose current contract expires at the end of the season. The club is also working on new deals for key players such as Declan Rice, Martin Odegaard, and Jurrien Timber.

Manchester United continues to monitor Newcastle United's young left-back Lewis Hall with a view to a future transfer, while they also remain in discussions to sign 18-year-old Louis Page from Leicester City after a deadline day move did not materialize.

Additionally, Aston Villa has secured Belgium midfielder Amadou Onana on a long-term contract until 2031. AC Milan is eyeing a January move for Sporting defender Goncalo Inacio, and French defender Matthieu Udol was a subject of interest from Aston Villa and Sunderland, but Lens opted to keep him.

In a surprising turn, Lyon considered re-signing former France striker Karim Benzema, but his ambassadorial role with the Saudi Pro League prevented the move from happening.
