Khan younis: One Palestinian was killed and 13 others, including children, were injured in Israeli attacks on Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip on Friday, medical sources told Anadolu. The attacks are reported to be part of Israel's ongoing violations of a ceasefire agreement that has been in effect in the enclave since October 10, 2025.
According to Anadolu Agency, the body and 12 of the injured were brought to Nasser Hospital after a drone targeted a gathering of civilians in the Al-Sumoud displacement camp, located in the Al-Mawasi area. This incident underscores the fragile nature of the ceasefire and the continued volatility in the region.
Earlier in the day, tensions escalated when an individual was critically injured following an Israeli tank firing towards the Ard al-Limoun locality in Al-Mawasi. The situation remains tense as sporadic attacks continue to affect the lives of civilians in the area.
In a separate incident, another person succumbed to wounds sustained from an Israeli attack on a civilian gathering in the Al-Daraj neighborhood of Gaza City on Thursday. These incidents highlight the ongoing humanitarian concerns and the precarious state of peace in the region.
