Gaza: The Israeli army announced on Friday that it had killed three Palestinian commanders in Gaza, asserting they were members of the Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of Hamas. In a statement, the army detailed the operation, stating that a precise strike executed in collaboration with the Shin Bet security agency resulted in the elimination of Mohammed al-Yazouri in the Khan Younis area. The army identified al-Yazouri as the commander of Hamas's Khan Younis Brigade.

According to Anadolu Agency, the Israeli army further claimed that Hudhaifa Muammar, described as a 'company commander,' and Muhammad Bahjat Rashi, who was also associated with Hamas' military wing in the Khan Younis Brigade, were killed in the same operation. As of now, there has been no immediate response from Hamas or the Qassam Brigades regarding these claims.

Since October 2023, Israel has engaged in military operations in Gaza, which have resulted in significant casualties and infrastructure damage. Over 73,000 Palestinians have been reported killed, with more than 174,000 injured, and approximately 90% of Gaza's infrastructure has been destroyed. Despite a ceasefire agreement reached in October 2025, the attacks have persisted.
