Damascus: Yemeni warplanes struck dozens of Houthi trucks carrying weapons, military ammunition, and missiles in the southwestern Taiz province on Saturday, the army said.

According to Anadolu Agency, the Taiz Military Axis released a statement on the US social media platform Facebook indicating that the convoy of trucks was en route from the coastal city of Mokha to the Houthi-held capital, Sanaa. The military statement noted that the airstrike specifically targeted heavy transport trucks on 60th Street, located north of Taiz.

The statement did not disclose any information regarding casualties or the extent of the damage inflicted by the airstrikes. There has been no immediate response or comment from the Houthi side concerning the army's claims.
